It was June 7th, 2009. We were at a local bar having a few beers. As we sat around "The Stump," literally a wooden stump in the middle of the bar, it came to us. We live in one of the coolest towns in America, and it doesn't even have its own beer. We decided right then and there that it should. The Venice Beach Beer Company was born.
